Aside from releases, I put most of my newest musical ideas on my instagram
“Falling Right Back” was a song I wrote about someone close to me moving back home. It consists of warm analog synths, bouncing drums, and a touch of summer nostalgia. While I can hold a tune, I knew I had to recruit my good friend Justus Johnson to perform the vocals for this one, and he took it to a whole new level! I know there is some commercial value in this one, more-so than any of my previous work as a matter of fact. Click here or on the image above to listen on Spotify.

I sought out to mirror the mental picture of drifting through the mountains in a sedated mental state. “With You” represents ethereal mountain meditative vibes, while still including traditional electronic elements that keep the track exciting. I’m more excited than ever to continue working on new projects to release ASAP : ) Click here or on the image above to listen on Spotify.

“Today,” an inspiring instrumental. I’ve been sitting on so much music because I’ve been fearful of continued unsuccessful releases. But in a world where it’s so simple to release music to the ether, knowing that it may connect with the person who needs it most, then sometimes a leap of faith is necessary. And in my case it is necessary, because I connected with this song while secluding myself in the mountains of Tennessee for a couple days, and simply needed to put the message out there.

One of my personal favorites, especially to play live is my remix of Leon Bridges’ “Beyond.” I liked his album Good Thing so much that I bought the vinyl to have forever. Naturally I found myself remixing the song one day, which now has 11.8K plays on Soundcloud. I’m currently working on getting it to Spotify and the others, but don’t want to get in any trouble from the copyright owners, so for now enjoy the track on Soundcloud and grab a free download if you like!

Jabroni and Company, the album, was a project that took about 2 years. Attending concerts around Nashville, a brand new environment, and experiencing a plethora of different styles of production music, I came to a realization that I needed to use my talents to differentiate myself from the crowd, yet maintain a spirit of collaboration. I found myself with a playlist comprised of 16 original songs, 10 of which featured artists native to Middle Tennessee State University, all like myself – away from home and family, striving to reach their dreams making music.
There’s a little bit of everything on this album, ranging from Electronic Blues to Jazz infused Hip Hop to Alternative Pop. The memories and connections made while creating this album and working with people whom I cherish as friends was priceless. I know that the amount of heart put into this project guarantees that there is something on this album for everyone.
